1. Drink plenty of water.

2. Avoid trans-fats

3. Reduce your salt intake

The easiest way to do this is to eat fresh food and refrain from reaching for the salt shaker processed foods are often high in salt, so check labels-aim for less than 120 milligrams of sodium per serve and give your kidneys a much needed break.

4. Do a little swap, instead of eating white flour-based bread or pasta or white rice, opt for a wholegrain version.

But being starved for time may result in a poor diet and ultimately, weight gain a recent survey found that women who ate a pastry instead of fruit or whole grain for the rest of the day, resulting in a higher average weight than those who ate wisely upon rising.
